Three Citizens Hospitalized with Burns in Serious Condition: Ministry of Emergency Situations
On July 27, at 21:04, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a car was burning in a garage near building 13 on Vilnius Street, Yerevan.
A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that there had been a gas leak from the trunk of a Hyundai Sonata car, which ignited and caused the fire. As a result, Armen S. (born 2013) was hospitalized at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as stable but serious. Yura S. (born 1981) and Sergey M. (born 1984) were hospitalized at the National Center for Burns, where their health conditions were evaluated as extremely serious.
The fire was contained at 21:32 and extinguished by 21:34. The trunk of the car was burned, and the body sustained thermal damage.
