8 New Coronavirus Infection Cases Registered in Georgia in One Day
In the last 24 hours, 8 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Georgia, while another 5 individuals have recovered. This information is reported by netgazeti.ge, citing data presented by the country’s government.
In total, there have been 1,145 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Georgia, with 927 individuals recovered and 16 fatalities. Currently, 6,459 people are in quarantine zones in Georgia, and another 353 individuals are under medical supervision in hospitals.
Globally, the number of confirmed coronavirus infections has reached 16,652,435, with 656,678 deaths reported. The World Health Organization declared a pandemic on March 11. The virus has spread to 213 countries.
