Doctors Infected at Mikayelyan Surgical Institute

Cases of coronavirus have been registered among the staff at Mikayelyan University Hospital. Shushan Danielyan, the head of the Yerevan State Medical University staff, confirmed the information in a conversation with LURER.com.

“Two doctors have tested positive for coronavirus. They are middle-aged. At this moment, there are no complications; they are in the treatment phase,” said Danielyan.

She also noted that Mikayelyan University Hospital is operating under an extraordinarily heavy schedule, and it was almost impossible to rule out the occurrence of infection cases among the staff.
