Social Assistance to Be Provided to 8,000 Underprivileged Families in Various Communities of Armenia
Yesterday, Ambassador Lynn Tracy and Deborah Griser, the director of the USAID Armenia office, visited the Armenian Red Cross Society and observed the packaging and preparation of food and hygiene kits funded by USAID. These kits will be distributed to 8,000 socially disadvantaged families living in various communities in Armenia, according to the U.S. Embassy.
“As you can see, all protective measures have been implemented during the work. We are pleased to cooperate with the European Union and support the Armenian Red Cross Society and the government of Armenia in the response efforts to COVID-19,” the embassy stated.
