One of the medical mask production facilities is temporarily closed due to COVID-19 cases
In Tavush Province, one of the factories of "Tavush Textile," located in the city of Berd, has recorded several cases of COVID-19, leading to its temporary closure. In a conversation with HJ, the community leader of Berd, Harutyun Manucharyan, confirmed that the cases have been registered in their area. According to preliminary data, the factory is closed for one week.
The community leader stated that there is currently no outbreak in the city or at the factory. The scope of contact has been established, and all contacts have been isolated. "The most important thing is that we know the hotspots; the people are listening and are self-isolating. At this moment, there is no risk of an outbreak," he said.
