VIDEO: Police Continue to Ensure Compliance with the Requirements of the Plenipotentiary's Decision
Since the early morning of May 19, police officers throughout the republic have continued to serve in emergency mode both at bus stops and through patrols, ensuring the implementation of the Plenipotentiary's decision aimed at preventing the possible spread of the new coronavirus. This was reported by the Armenian Police.
Monitoring is being conducted to ensure that microbuses and buses carry only the number of passengers corresponding to designated seating places. Standing passengers can only be transported in vehicles longer than 9 meters. A distance of at least 1 meter must be maintained between standing passengers.
Police are ensuring that all passenger transport vehicles have mandatory alcohol-based hand sanitizers installed at the entrance for passengers to disinfect their hands. Both passengers and drivers are required to wear protective masks.
The police remind both drivers and passengers that violations of safety rules will result in legal liability as stipulated by law.
