Two Deceased Patients Were from Shirak Province

In the last two days, two patients who died from the coronavirus were residents of the Ani region in Shirak Province. They had been receiving treatment in the capital since the very first day of the illness. This information was reported by the Shirak Regional Administration.

As of May 11, a total of 89 patients diagnosed with coronavirus are being treated at the Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, with 71 of them being residents of Shirak Province. The number of recoveries has increased by two, bringing the total to 26 recovery cases. Additionally, 21 patients are receiving treatment in Yerevan. Fifty patients with asymptomatic cases have been transferred to Tsaghkadzor.

Currently, there are 271 citizens in isolation and self-isolation in Shirak Province. Since March 1, a total of 1284 samples have been taken in the province's healthcare facilities and the regional center of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
