The Police of Armenia has presented the results of inspections as of March 29 at 15:00.
"The police continue to ensure the enforcement of the decision of the Prime Minister regarding the restrictions on free movement of individuals aimed at preventing the possible spread of the new coronavirus. On March 29, between 09:00 and 15:00, administrative violation reports were drawn up for 158 individuals for violating isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. Since the decision of the Prime Minister came into force until March 29 at 15:00, reports were compiled for 2,620 individuals, including 1,357 in the capital and 1,263 in the regions.
On March 29, from 09:00 to 15:00, road police officers discovered 117 vehicles in which there were more than two individuals, while since the decision of the Prime Minister came into force up to March 29 at 15:00, there were 2,107 vehicles. All individuals who violated the decision were disembarked from their vehicles.
Administrative violation reports were also composed against 50 drivers of public transport who transported more than the established number of passengers.
We urge the population once again to strictly limit their exit from homes and to do so only in cases of extreme necessity. We advise drivers to carry only one passenger in compliance with the requirements set by the Prime Minister's decision," the post on their Facebook page stated.
