Direct: Quarantine in Armenia May Be Extended for Another 7 Days, Arsen Torosyan
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, has not ruled out the possibility that the quarantine declared in the country could be extended for another week.
Speaking at the online conference titled “COVID-19: A Challenge to Common Fear”, Torosyan outlined the measures being taken by Armenia to combat the coronavirus outbreak.
“Armenia has imposed restrictions in accordance with the recommendations of the WHO, UN, and other international partners. The country is currently under a one-week quarantine. It may be reviewed and extended for another 7 days,” he added.
