Lars is Closed for All Types of Vehicles, Snow Falls in Lori Province

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 20 at 08:30, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in Aragatsotn Province remain closed indefinitely.

Snow is falling in Lori Province. According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to drive with winter tires only.
