Bako Sahakyan Participated in the Opening Ceremony of the Armenian-Iranian Scientific and Cultural Center

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, attended the opening ceremony of the Armenian-Iranian Scientific and Cultural Center in Shushi on October 14. President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the 'Idea' and the Foundation for the Preservation of Eastern Historical Heritage for implementing the project, hoping that the center will play an important role in strengthening Armenian-Iranian relations, interfaith and civilizational dialogue, as well as in the development of tourism in Shushi.

Among the attendees were the Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, the Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Artsakh National Assembly President Ashot Ghulian, State Minister Grigori Martirosyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan, high-ranking officials, representatives from the diaspora, and guests from abroad.
