Meteorological Update: Temperature in Armenia to Decrease, Rain and Thunderstorms Expected

A notable change in weather conditions is anticipated across the Republic of Armenia, beginning today. On October 12, during the day, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in many regions, with the heaviest activity particularly in Syunik and Artsakh during the first half of the night on the 13th. Wind gusts during the thunderstorms may reach 15-20 m/s.

During the day on the 13th and from the 14th to the 17th, precipitation-free weather is expected.

The wind will be from the southeast direction, blowing at 3-8 m/s.

The air temperature will gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees during the day on the 12th, and on the 13th, while it is expected to rise by 3-5 degrees on the 15th and 16th.

In Yerevan, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in some areas after noon on October 12. Precipitation-free weather is expected from the 14th to the 17th.
