Felix Tsolakyan Remains Silent on Resignation Speculations

According to the newspaper «Haykakan Zhamanak», the Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, who had previously vouched for Arthur Vanetsyan's appointment as head of the NSS, was questioned about rumors of his impending resignation. He responded, "No, I will not resign," evidently unwilling to elaborate.

When asked if he regrets transitioning from the Republican Party to the ruling ‘My Step’ faction, Tsolakyan asserted, "No, I do not regret it." The long-time NSS employee was additionally asked about a law that allows any 25-year-old resident in Armenia for four years to become the head of the NSS. Tsolakyan remained silent on this matter, despite having criticized the law days prior.

He was also reminded that during Serzh Sargsyan's era, he spoke actively and openly criticized. In response, he stated, "I have talked enough, that’s enough." More details can be found in today’s edition of the newspaper.
