Georgia's President Responds to Saakashvili's Statements

Georgia's President Salome Zourabichvili has responded to comments made by former President Mikheil Saakashvili regarding the 11th anniversary of the August war. She stated, 'After being elected president, I declared that I would never comment on Saakashvili's statements. However, his recent interview related to the country's relations with the West during the 2008 war has crossed all boundaries and could harm Georgia,' Zourabichvili said.

The President also emphasized that the former president's distortion of history is irresponsible and unacceptable.
