Fact: Authorities Are Satisfied with Osipyan; Dismissal Not on the Agenda
The "Fact" newspaper reports that after the well-known events in Ijevan, discussions surrounding Police Chief Valery Osipyan seem to have ceased, which turns out to be not coincidental. According to information from the "Fact" newspaper, the Prime Minister has been very pleased with Osipyan's and the police's actions in Ijevan, where they managed to avoid the worst-case scenarios during intense clashes.
It is also considered a positive sign that the police chief was able to prevent further escalation of the atmosphere. Essentially, the authorities believe that the police chief has commendably passed this "exam." For this reason, according to our governmental sources, the question of Valery Osipyan's dismissal is not anticipated in the near future.
