Snow Falling and Black Ice: Closed Roads Reported
The Emergency Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.
In the Aragatsotn province, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Kary lake are closed.
In the Kotayk province, snow is falling in the Spitak twists, as well as in the regions of Artik, Ashtarak, Amasia, and Gyumri.
There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Sevan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Goris, Ashtarak, and Amasia.
Drivers are advised to only travel with winter tires.
