Armenia Elected as Member of the UN Economic and Social Council with 148 Votes
Earlier today, during a voting session held at the UN headquarters in New York, Armenia was elected as a member of the UN Economic and Social Council with 148 votes. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We thank the partner states of Armenia for their support. Armenia is committed to contributing to international cooperation aimed at implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook page.
