"Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu is considered the most reliable interlocutor," the newspaper notes.

According to their analysis, the central topics of negotiation among "U.S. President Joe Biden and the leaders of European leading states and governments," which did not include Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, were aimed at avoiding escalation risks and preventing "nuclear program development."

The publication states that NATO's focus is on more than 1,400 nuclear warheads that are ready for immediate use. According to the authors of the article, the West has wanted to quickly convey that its "forces are not playing any role in actions determined by the rebels."
