Militaristic Rhetoric is Ineffective: Russian Foreign Ministry to Armenia and Azerbaijan
Russia considers militaristic rhetoric ineffective in the context of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the situation surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. This statement was made today by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a press briefing.
“Any side’s militaristic rhetoric is ineffective and does not help advance a peaceful agenda. We proceed from the premise that Baku and Yerevan should unwaveringly uphold all provisions of the tripartite agreements at a high level, including ensuring security in Nagorno-Karabakh and the use of the Lachin corridor,” emphasized the diplomat.
