Lavrov and Mamedyarov Held Phone Conversation, Addressing Artsakh Issue
The Russian Foreign Ministry has reported that on April 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov. According to official sources, the foreign ministers discussed issues related to the coronavirus pandemic, its consequences, and responses to it, as well as biomedical security.
During the phone call, they also touched upon the Artsakh issue and potential further steps towards resolving the matter, considering the proposals from the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs from Russia, the USA, and France. The parties also discussed the possibility of cooperation between Moscow and Baku within the framework of the CIS.
