Arayik Harutyunyan Receives 87% of Votes According to Preliminary Data, Spokesperson Says

Arayik Harutyunyan will be the next President of the Republic of Artsakh. This was announced by Vahram Poghosyan, the spokesperson for Harutyunyan and the leader of the "Free Homeland" party, in a Facebook post.

"Preliminary results indicate over 87 percent. Congratulations to all," he wrote.

It is worth noting that today, the second round of presidential elections is being held. According to data provided by the Artsakh police, there are 103,637 eligible voters, and 47,050 voters participated (44.9 percent of voters).

In the second round of the presidential elections, Arayik Harutyunyan, who received 49.26 percent of the votes in the first round, and Artsakh’s Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan, who received 26.4 percent, are competing.
