Manvel Grigoryan's Condition Has Significantly Deteriorated; He Is in Critical Condition
The former president of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Manvel Grigoryan's health condition sharply worsened on April 12. He is in critical condition. This announcement was made by Grigoryan's lawyer, Levon Baghdasaryan.
The statement reads in particular: “Yesterday, on April 12, Manvel Grigoryan's health condition deteriorated sharply, and the patient is in critical condition. Prolonged treatment has only preserved the diseases, while recent medical reports have revealed a deterioration and negative dynamics in his health.”
Gazprom has not yet responded to Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan's letter. According to renowned doctor and professor N. Avetian, necessary and sufficient treatments have already been provided in the best healthcare facilities in Armenia to improve Manvel Grigoryan's health condition; however, the patient's health has worsened not due to the negligence or inattention of the doctors but because necessary medications and equipment related to these complex diseases are absent in Armenia. In such conditions, the reputable doctor has concluded that the patient may die.
Moreover, although the coronavirus pandemic is raging globally, including in France, the hospital in France where Manvel Grigoryan was previously treated and operated on has sent a letter suggesting that the patient should be immediately transferred to their clinic after reviewing his medical history.
What did the health minister do? The minister says that since the matter is in court, he will not make any decisions and advises to contact the court. What does the court say? The court states that it does not deal with health issues and will not issue a letter to the ministry. The entire responsibility for the consequences of Manvel Grigoryan's sharp deterioration in health now lies with the Republic of Armenia.
