The wife of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Anna Hakobyan, shared photos on her Facebook page with the following caption: “Since the topic of hairdressing is relevant again, I gladly share my story about visiting a hair salon in New York during my recent trip to the USA.”

“It is located in Manhattan and is owned by an Armenian named Vardan, who has been running a barber shop in New York for 40 years and was himself serving a client at the time of my visit. His son, Mika, styled my hair, and a girl named Bianca did my makeup. Mr. Vardan insisted that they make me very beautiful: ‘Make her beautiful, she is the First Lady of my country,’ he urged. It’s simply astonishing when you meet such an Armenian halfway across the world, no matter what happens, you still feel confident!”
